PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENTUnder the direction of the Energy Marketing Manager, provides administrative and clerical support for the Energy Department staff and sales people.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSAnswers telephones, provides appropriate customer service, and directs inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
Assists the manager in maintaining current retail and wholesale pricing sheets on all related product and communicates to the appropriate staff and salespeople on a daily basis.
Orders products from suppliers on a timely basis utilizing the least cost programs.
Assists in developing marketing plans that will grow applicable market segments.
Assists in generating sales for the energy department.
Supports staff in assigned project based work both in a team-oriented environment and independently.
Schedules and coordinates meetings and calendars and assists in presentation preparations as needed.
Performs other general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
Maintains thorough knowledge of the Fuel Billing System software.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONSCross-trains and serves as backup for other administrative positions as necessary.
Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTSNormally requires an Associate's degree in Business or Accounting, and 2 years or more of business, accounting, or energy related work experience.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Willingness to work hours beyond those considered normal as business conditions warrant.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
